In a deeply emotional final message, the creator of the widely popular Pakistani YouTube channel Mr. How announced the end of his digital journey.
The channel, which once boasted over 2 million subscribers, 600+ videos, and more than 150 million views, has been permanently terminated by YouTube. The creator shared his thoughts in a heartfelt farewell video, citing personal and systemic challenges as the reason behind the termination.
In his last video, the creator Malik Hajir stated, “Mr. How channel has been permanently terminated. It was six years of hard work, why was it removed? The reason is clear, I didn’t dance.”
“I couldn’t show my family, couldn’t entertain. Maybe some people had an issue with the fact that digital education was being provided in Pakistan. I never wanted fame. There were many insecurities, many cases, and many family threats.” He added.
Malik Hajir stated, “Speaking out against scammers, enduring threats… that’s what I kept doing. I didn’t earn, I’m not sorry, I didn’t want to earn unlawfully. If you want to be successful, then dance; if you want to earn money, earn respect, earn fame, then make your family dance.”
Notably, YouTube enforces strict community guidelines and terms of service. Channels may be removed for a variety of reasons. However, in many cases, if a channel was wrongly flagged or mass-reported, a strong appeal backed by public sentiment can push YouTube to review the decision.
