In the video, Babar Azam—wearing a green shirt and blue jeans—can be seen speaking to someone in the middle of a small crowd on the street. Moments later, he appears to lose his temper and pushes someone behind him before walking away angrily.
Following the video’s circulation, Babar faced heavy criticism from fans, with some even nicknaming him “Street Babar.”
Social media users claim that his demeanor has changed since being dropped from the national team.

According to sources close to the former captain, Babar Azam had requested fans not to film him during prayers. However, despite his request, a fan continued recording, prompting Babar to react angrily and leave the scene.

After Babar was dropped from the T20 squad, his father responded to criticism from former cricketers on social media, which led former wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal to advise that families of players should refrain from making public statements.
