The Sindh government has issued a code of conduct for the collection of hides of sacrificial animals within the province.
According to the official notification, the collection of hides without prior permission from the Commissioners or Deputy Commissioners is strictly prohibited.
Authorities have been directed to ensure that only registered charities, madaris, and philanthropic organizations are allowed to participate in the collection of hides. No banned organization shall be permitted to operate under the guise of a fictitious name.

The notification also prohibits the establishment of camps and the use of banners for the purpose of hide collection.
“The use of flags and loudspeakers on vehicles or buildings for making announcements related to the collection of hides is strictly prohibited,” the notification stated.
It further added that any violation of these conditions will result in the confiscation of the hides, which will then be collected and disposed of by the District Administrations and handed over to organizations authorized for this purpose.
