Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Thursday, reflecting a surge in the international market.
The price of gold rose by Rs4,000 per tola, reaching Rs356,900 in the local market, while the price of 10 grams of gold was recorded at Rs305,984 after an increase of Rs3,430, according to the rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, the price of gold per tola had reached Rs352,900 following an increase of Rs600 during the day.
The international price of gold also rose on Thursday, reaching $3,375 per ounce (including a $20 premium), an increase of $30, according to the APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained stable at Rs3,745.
