Major revelations of alleged illegal appointments and corruption have surfaced within the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), prompting the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to initiate a formal investigation.
According to sources, NAB has sought complete records from former SPSC Chairman Noor Muhammad Jadmani and 16 other senior officials, including members, secretaries, controllers, and additional controllers.
The Commission has been directed to submit the requested documents within a week.
The investigation covers both pending and concluded court petitions related to SPSC recruitment processes.
NAB officials expressed frustration over the initial submission of incomplete records during preliminary questioning, emphasizing that full documentation must be provided promptly.
Sources further reveal that certain government officials allegedly facilitated the recruitment of their own children by helping them pass SPSC exams through questionable means.
NAB may also summon individuals who benefited from these controversial appointments in the next phase of the inquiry.
