The trailer of the new thriller film ‘Kuberaa’ starring South film industry’s classic hero Nagarjuna, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna has been released. In the past 24 hours, over 3.1 million social media users have viewed the short video trailer.
A large number of people are praising the trailer, while the South film industry, already having made its mark on Bollywood with films like Pushpa and Baahubali, continues to captivate audiences with layered storylines, mind-twisting endings, and surprising narratives.
According to Indian media, the trailer for Kuberaa, directed by Dhanush and Nagarjuna, was released on June 15 during a pre-release event in Hyderabad. Renowned filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli attended the event as the chief guest.
The trailer, featuring Dhanush’s powerful performance, offers a glimpse into a world driven by wealth, power, and control. The trailer begins with Dhanush, who appears unable to comprehend amounts in crores. Nagarjuna, who appears to be an influential figure, meets Dhanush, and Dhanush’s life changes.
With Nagarjuna’s help, Dhanush embarks on a mission to expose corrupt politicians. However, Nagarjuna doesn’t realize that the person he is helping will become the greatest threat to his world of power, Dhanush becomes that threat and turns Nagarjuna’s life into a nightmare.
In one scene from the trailer, Nagarjuna is seen chasing Dhanush with the intent to kill him. Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Dhanush’s confidante, gets entangled in this conflict. The trailer is summarized in one powerful sentence: “How did a beggar endanger the entire government?”
The film also stars Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, Sayaji Shinde, Divya Dutta, Harish Peradi, and many others in key roles. The movie is directed by Shekhar Kamla.
