Four armed assailants allegedly gang-raped a woman at gunpoint in front of her husband in Hafizabad.
Police have registered a case on the husband’s complaint, but the suspects have not yet been arrested.
According to police, the incident took place in the Mangat Uncha area on April 25, where four armed men allegedly raped a woman in front of her husband.
The FIR includes the names of four identified suspects — Ikram, Laiq, Chand, and Khawar — along with four unidentified accomplices, making a total of eight accused.
The complainant stated that he was traveling from Nowshera Virkan to Hafizabad with his wife when the suspects intercepted them near Mangat Uncha, abducted them, and took them to the fields at gunpoint.
He further alleged that the suspects gang-raped his wife, looted their jewelry, mobile phones, and cash, and also recorded a video of the crime which was later circulated on social media.
The suspects reportedly threatened the couple not to file a case.
